AguilarCapital.ch Review: FINMA Confirms This Website Is Not Connected to the Real Aguilar Capital GmbH

AguilarCapital.ch Review: A Regulator Has Already Raised a Major Red Flag

At first glance, AguilarCapital.ch looks like a polished Swiss wealth-management firm. The website presents itself as an established investment business serving families, foundations, and institutions. It claims $556 million in assets under management, seven years of stewardship, 28 investment professionals, and clients across 14 countries. It also lists a Zurich headquarters at Bäckerstrasse 58.

That presentation creates an important question: Who actually operates AguilarCapital.ch?

The answer becomes much more serious when the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority, FINMA, is checked.

On July 14, 2026, FINMA placed aguilarcapital.ch on its warning list. More importantly, FINMA stated that the website has no connection with Aguilar Capital GmbH in Zurich, a genuine company registered in the Swiss Commercial Register under CHE-425.601.643. FINMA also recorded that the operator of the website had no entry in the Swiss Commercial Register.

This is not simply an automated website score or an anonymous online complaint. It is an official regulatory warning involving an alleged misuse of the identity of a real Swiss company.

What Does AguilarCapital.ch Claim to Offer?

The website describes Aguilar Capital as a private wealth and investment-management firm. Its stated services include:

  • Equities
  • Mutual funds and ETFs
  • Fixed income
  • Real estate
  • Alternative investments
  • Crypto trading

The site says it works with families, foundations, and institutions. It also presents named executives, including “Lucian Aguilar” as Founding Partner and CEO, and claims the firm was founded in 2019.

The website further displays client-style statements and names such as Eldridge Foundation, Whitfield Family Office, Asterion Endowment, Brunswick & Co., and Halberd Trust. However, the website itself states that the client names are anonymised and that the logos are illustrative rather than endorsements.

That distinction matters.

A professional website can create a strong impression of credibility without proving who legally operates it. For an investment business, the legal identity and regulatory position matter far more than design quality or marketing language.

The FINMA Warning Is the Key Finding

FINMA’s warning is the strongest piece of evidence in this AguilarCapital.ch review.

The regulator’s warning page identifies the website directly as aguilarcapital.ch. It lists Zurich as the location but says there is no Commercial Register entry for the website’s operator. Most importantly, FINMA states that the website is not related to Aguilar Capital GmbH, Zurich, which is registered under CHE-425.601.643.

This creates a serious identity problem.

Someone visiting the website could reasonably believe they are dealing with the legitimate Aguilar Capital GmbH. Yet FINMA says the website is not connected to that company.

That means investors should not assume that the genuine Swiss company’s registration gives AguilarCapital.ch any legitimacy.

FINMA explains that its warning list covers companies or individuals suspected of conducting activities that may require authorisation without the necessary permission. The regulator also notes that inclusion on the warning list does not automatically establish that every activity is illegal.

In this case, however, the identity distinction is especially important.

There Really Is an Aguilar Capital GmbH in Switzerland

One reason this case can be confusing is that Aguilar Capital GmbH is a real registered company.

Swiss government data identifies Aguilar Capital GmbH under CHE-425.601.643. The company is active, has its registered address at Bäckerstrasse 58 in Zürich, and is associated with Lucian Aguilar.

Commercial-register information also shows that Aguilar Capital GmbH was entered in the register in September 2019. Its stated business purpose includes services related to investment management, startups, digital transformation and blockchain.

This is precisely why the FINMA warning deserves attention.

The issue is not that no company called Aguilar Capital exists.

The issue is that FINMA says the website at AguilarCapital.ch is not connected to that legitimate company.

That distinction should remain clear throughout any assessment of the platform.

The Website Is Much Newer Than Its Story Suggests

Another point investors should consider is the age of the domain.

ScamDoc records the creation date of aguilarcapital.ch as June 2, 2026 and gives the domain a poor trust score of 25%. It also notes that ownership information could not be retrieved and that the domain was less than six months old when assessed.

The website, meanwhile, presents Aguilar Capital as a firm with seven years of stewardship and says its founding partner established the firm in 2019.

A new domain does not automatically mean that a company is fraudulent. Established businesses can launch new domains or redesign their websites.

Here, however, the short domain history becomes much more significant because FINMA has already stated that the website is unrelated to the genuine Aguilar Capital GmbH.

The Website’s Zurich Address Creates Another Potential Source of Confusion

AguilarCapital.ch displays:

Bäckerstrasse 58, 8004 Zürich, Switzerland

That address is not random. Swiss government information also identifies Bäckerstrasse 58 as the registered address associated with the genuine Aguilar Capital GmbH.

However, this does not validate the website.

In fact, it makes FINMA’s warning even more important. A real company address can be used by an unrelated website without giving the website operator the legal rights or regulatory status of the company located there.

Investors should therefore avoid treating a matching address as proof that they are dealing with the genuine business.

What About the Claimed Investment Experience?

The website describes a sophisticated investment approach. It says the firm uses research-led investment decisions, long holding periods and disciplined risk management. It also claims an average holding period of 5.7 years and an active share of 85%.

These claims may sound reassuring.

However, marketing statements cannot resolve the central identity problem.

Before considering any investment, the relevant question is not simply whether the website looks professional. It is whether the entity receiving the money is the same legal entity that investors believe they are dealing with.

FINMA’s warning indicates that this connection cannot be assumed for AguilarCapital.ch.

Are There Customer Complaints?

Some third-party websites have published negative assessments of AguilarCapital.ch and describe alleged withdrawal problems and additional payment requests. For example, German legal and investor-protection websites have discussed claims involving delayed withdrawals and requests for additional funds.

These reports should be treated differently from the FINMA warning.

They are third-party reports and allegations, not findings by a regulator or a court. Therefore, they should not be presented as independently proven facts.

Still, they add context. If someone has already deposited money and is now being asked to pay additional taxes, release fees, verification charges, or other amounts before receiving a withdrawal, that situation deserves immediate caution.

Do not send more money simply because someone promises that another payment will unlock an existing balance.

Why the Identity Issue Matters More Than Website Design

A modern investment website can display:

  • Professional branding
  • Swiss addresses
  • Investment terminology
  • Executive biographies
  • Performance statistics
  • Client testimonials
  • A client portal
  • Telephone and email contacts

None of those features proves regulatory legitimacy.

FINMA itself advises investors to research financial providers, check whether they are authorised, search its warning list, and verify Swiss companies through the Commercial Register.

AguilarCapital.ch presents an unusually important example of why those checks matter.

The real Aguilar Capital GmbH exists. Yet FINMA specifically says that the website using the Aguilar Capital name is not connected to it.

That is a much more serious concern than a low website reputation score.

AguilarCapital.ch Review: Our Overall Assessment

Based on the evidence available, AguilarCapital.ch should be treated as a very high-risk website.

The decisive factor is the official FINMA warning from July 14, 2026. FINMA specifically identified AguilarCapital.ch and stated that it is not related to the legitimate Aguilar Capital GmbH in Zurich.

The other warning signs reinforce the concern:

Finding What it means
FINMA warning Official regulator has identified the website
Website not connected to genuine Aguilar Capital GmbH Major identity concern
No Commercial Register entry for website operator Legal-entity uncertainty
Domain created in June 2026 Very recent web presence
Genuine Aguilar Capital GmbH exists Creates potential for identity confusion
Third-party withdrawal allegations Additional reason for caution, but not independently proven

Taken together, these findings make AguilarCapital.ch unsuitable for normal investment use unless its legal identity and regulatory status can be independently established.

What Should You Do If You Already Sent Money?

If you have already deposited money with AguilarCapital.ch, stop sending additional funds until you understand exactly who received your money and why.

Keep copies of everything. Save emails, WhatsApp messages, payment confirmations, account screenshots, contracts, wallet addresses and telephone numbers. Do not delete conversations.

Contact your bank, card provider or payment service as soon as possible. Ask whether a payment can be recalled, reversed or disputed. The available options depend on the payment method and how quickly you report the transaction.

You should also report the matter to the relevant authorities and consider submitting information directly to FINMA. FINMA says it accepts information about suspected irregularities and investigates situations where there are concrete indications of possible violations of financial-market law.

If you need help organising the evidence or understanding possible next steps, Whittaker Assistance can also be considered as an option for reporting the incident and reviewing the available recovery routes. Be cautious with anyone promising guaranteed recovery or demanding a large upfront payment.

Final Verdict

AguilarCapital.ch is not a website investors should trust with money.

The most important evidence is not a review score or a technical scanner. It is the FINMA warning that directly names the domain and states that it has no connection with the genuine Aguilar Capital GmbH.

The combination of an identity mismatch, a newly registered domain, and the use of details associated with a genuine Swiss company creates a serious risk for anyone considering an investment.

If you have not deposited money, the safest decision is to stay away.

If you have already paid, focus on preserving evidence, contacting your payment provider, and reporting the matter rather than sending additional money to unlock a supposed withdrawal.
